Director of Vintage Story Servers
The director is responsible for overseeing all of the Vintage Story Servers and their admins. They must understand that our servers that are in survival mode admins will not be able to use creative mode or teleports except to correct specific server issues. Creative mode and teleports cannot be used for preparing for contests on the server, any of the infrastructure or your personal builds, and you cannot teleport to new players to assist them with learning the game. If you want to help you will need to walk over like everyone else. The director must lead by example in this category to ensure our standards are upheld. Additional duties include:
- Overseeing Testing of Updates for Vintage Story itself and current/new mods
- Recommend mods to be added to the server to the board
- Oversee and help run Vintage Story community events
- Restart the server when it is lagging
- Investigate game, server, and mod bugs
- Oversee marketing of the server
- Report on activity and health of Vintage Story servers and make recommendations to the board
- Ensure servers remain safe and inclusive
Assistant Director of Vintage Story Servers
The assistant director of Vintage Story Server is to assist in the director in overseeing admins and the server. They must understand that our servers that are in survival mode admins will not be able to use creative mode or teleports except to correct specific server issues. Creative mode and teleports cannot be used for preparing for contests on the server, any of the infrastructure or your personal builds, and you cannot teleport to new players to assist them with learning the game. - Running Testing events for Vintage Story itself and current/new mods
- Recommend and Help run Vintage Story server events
- Directly responsible for the marketing of the server
- Investigate game, server, and mod bugs
- Restart the server when lagging
- Assist in admining on server themselves
- Ensure servers remain safe and inclusive
Esports Director
The Esports director is responsible for all Esports related operations of Aura Fury. The individual will be in charge of growing our Esports related programs and competitions. This individual has the ability to post volunteer positions in order to achieve organizational goals. Additional duties include:
- Overseeing the creation of leagues/tournaments
- Overseeing content creation of Esports for Aura Fury
- Overseeing marketing for Esports related programs and events
- Providing resources to Esports teams the organization takes on
- Assisting with Esport-related clubs we partner with
- Connecting with Esports organizations that Aura Fury can help with or they can help us
- Searching out new avenues we can take as an Organization in Esports
- Promoting inclusiveness and sportsmanship
- Report progress and make recommendations for changes to the Board of Directors
Director of Tabletop and DnD
Responsible for overseeing all current DnD and Tabletop along with growing the program. This position will have a lot of influence over the direction we take in Aura Fury. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and fun for the whole community. In addition, the position is responsible for:
- Recruiting from outside of the community
- Overseeing the creation of Tabletop events
- Overseeing content creation in DnD and Tabletop for Aura Fury
- Create tournaments or leagues in Tabletop
- Help provide tools and support to DnD DMs
- Promoting inclusiveness and sportsmanship
- Report progress and make recommendations for changes to the Board of Directors
Podcast Manager
This position assists the President in overseeing the Podcast and Aura Fury Academy Videos. They will help schedule and communicate with people in and outside of Aura Fury. They help create the questions and provide input on the production of the content. Additional duties include:
- Schedule recording times and publication times
- Come up with ideas for additional episodes or videos
- Come up with questions for guests
- Be our direct communicator between guests and Aura Fury
- Ensure everyone involved has links to RiversideFM and provide basic tech support (we will train on this)
- Promote inclusiveness and sportsmanship
Website Admin
This position assists the President in overseeing the website of Aura Fury. They will keep the information on the website up to date and make suggestions for template changes
- Keep server pages up to date
- Add pictures from the servers to the gallery
- Keep event calender up to date
- Add to and improve FAQ section of website
- Make recommendations for overall improvements to the site
Director of Moderators
This position is responsible for ensuring the Aura Fury discord remains a safe and inclusive environment for everyone along with ensuring we continue to meet Discord official rules. This person will need to be easy going and understand Aura Fury is made up of mainly adults. Bans should be the absolute last resort. This person is also in charge of being the second opinion on server bans from server admins and directors. They will need to review the case and make a fair judgment to ensure the ban being asked for is based on serious rule breaking, that warning was given when needed, and emotion is being left out of the decision. Additional duties include:
- Overseeing other moderators and support admins in the community
- Deleting posts only when necessary
- Recommending changes to the discord
- Reporting every ban immediately to the board of directors
- Keeping up on bans being reported in Community Connections
- Recommend additions to the FAQ of the Aura Fury website
- Promote inclusiveness, sportsmanship, and ensure the discord stays a safe space
- Report to the board on happenings in the discord
Vintage Story Admin
We are looking for someone who can help admin the Vintage Story server that is also excited about the goals and mission of Aura Fury and understands that our server is a survival mode only server so you will not be able to use creative mode or teleports except to correct specific server issues. Creative mode and teleports cannot be used for preparing for contests on the server, any of the infrastructure or your personal builds, and you cannot teleport to new players to assist them with learning the game. If you want to help you will need to walk over like everyone else.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the Vintage Story whitelist application process
- Fix unlit chunks on the server
- Assist players in class changes
- Restart the server if it is lagging
- Help players who get stuck in claimed areas
- Spawn in items that have been lost to desyncs
- Investigate game, mod and server bugs
- Assist in testing Vintage Story updates
- Help run server events
Starbound Admin
We are looking for someone who can help admin the Vintage Story server that is also excited about the goals and mission of Aura Fury and understands that our server is a survival mode only server so you will not be able to use creative mode or teleports except to correct specific server issues. Creative mode and teleports cannot be used for preparing for contests on the server, any of the infrastructure or your personal builds, and you cannot teleport to new players to assist them with learning the game. If you want to help you will need to walk over like everyone else.

- Assisting with the Starbound whitelist application process
- Restart the server if it is lagging
- Spawn in items that have been lost to desyncs
- Investigate game, mod and server bugs
- Help run server events
- Help Advertise the Server outside of the Community
7 Days to Die Admin
We are looking for someone who can help admin the 7 Days to Die server that is also excited about the goals and mission of Aura Fury and understands that our server is a survival mode only server so you will not be able to use creative mode or teleports except to correct specific server issues. Creative mode and teleports cannot be used for preparing for contests on the server, any of the infrastructure or your personal builds, and you cannot teleport to new players to assist them with learning the game. If you want to help you will need to walk over like everyone else.

- Restart the server if it is lagging
- Spawn in items that have been lost to desyncs
- Investigate game, mod and server bugs

- Help advertise the server outside of the community
Information and Resource Admin
We are looking to a dedicated individual interested in making helping make a difference in people’s lives. When need someone to help gather resources and information on resources that can help people overcome barriers such as disabilities and discrimination in the gaming industry and our community. We plan on providing professional and educational resources that everyone could use as well over time. This person will need to keep detailed notes on the resources they find so that others know when to recommend individuals to said resources or how we as Aura Fury can use them to better serve people who have hit these barriers. This admin will be directly helping Aura Fury achieve its organizational goals and mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Gather resources that will help people overcome barriers
- Gather resources to help people further their skills in casual and professional gaming
- Gather resources on education and careers in gaming
- Take detailed notes on what the resources can be used for
- Come up with new ways of helping people achieve their goals
- Work directly with EconBrony and Kingreaper who are working on the project too
- Attend occasional meeting
Social Media Manager
We are looking to a dedicated individual interested in making helping get the word out about Aura Fury. When need someone willing to learn and keep up on Aura Fury games, events, educational projects, and more so you have the knowledge to do posts on our social media. They will be in charge of our Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, and Twitter. The person in this role will need to be a strong supporter of the Aura Fury goals and mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Knowing about the happenings in Aura Fury
- An interest in the favorite games of the community
- Do posts on Monday and Friday at minimum for our all our socials
- Ensure the posts all meet Aura Fury standards and the guidelines for 501 c 3 non-profits
- Help come up with ways to promote Aura Fury
- Make suggestions in regards to marketing and the social media
- Attend occasional meeting
Game Night Planner/Admin
Aura Fury is looking for a motivated individual that would like to help out with scheduling and running our game nights. One of their primary responsibilities will be helping run the game night event. The game night event is weekly and will be rotating games. This position will be taught how to add and change event information on the website as well. The person in this role will need to be a strong supporter of the Aura Fury goals and mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule at least 2 Game Nights per month
- Run or ensure someone is there to run the game night events
- Update Schedule for Game Nights on website
- Post reminders for game night events
- Occasionally join in meetings
- Help plan and come up with ideas for events for Aura Fury
- Work with the Event Planner
Event Planner and Coordinator
Aura Fury is looking for a motivated individual that would like to help out with planning and running Aura Fury events. One of their primary responsibilities will be creating and running events in Aura Fury. This position will be taught how to add and change event information on the website as well. The position works directly with EconBrony, Kingreaper and the Game Night Planner. The person in this role will need to be a strong supporter of the Aura Fury goals and mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Game Night Planner/Admin
- Assist in running events across multiple servers
- Help plan and come up with ideas for events for Aura Fury
- Post reminders for events and help promote them
- Come up with ways to bring people together
- Occasionally join in meetings
Linux Admin
Aura Fury is looking for a motivated individual that would like to help out with our Linux servers. One of their primary responsibilities will installing and running our servers from the backend along with troubleshooting issues when they come up. This person should have at least some basic understanding of command prompts for Linux. The person in this role will need to be a strong supporter of the Aura Fury goals and mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Work directly with other Linux Admins
- Assist in running and monitoring servers from the backend
- Install new servers when requested
- Troubleshoot issues when they arise
- Help with creating automation
- Make suggestions for improvements
Moderator (2)
This person watches over the Aura Fury discord and social media accounts watching for posts that violate the terms of the social media it is on or the Aura Fury terms and conditions. They help ensure that our discord stays a safe and fun place for everyone. This person will need to be easy going and understand Aura Fury is made up of mainly adults. They also must understand they will not have ban powers in the discord. They will need to report the issue to the director of moderators or any board member.

- Request bans when necessary to board members or director of moderators
- Promote inclusiveness, sportsmanship, and ensure the discord stays a safe space
- Don’t worry about posts that are in the wrong channel and worry about more important things
- Don’t bother folks unless it is absolutely necessary
Content Creator Support Admin
We are looking for someone that likes helping and motivating others in the arena of content creation. This person does not have to be a content creator themselves to be considered. This position comes up with ideas to promote our content creators as well as recruiting new content creators to the community. In addition they encourage collaboration between content creators.
